I’m Milène (pronounced Mill-Enn), a Landscape Architect born and trained in France. I studied at ENSAP Bordeaux and I started my career in 2013 in France. I have worked in Australia in Landscape Architecture & Landscape Design since migrating here in 2015.
I am passionate about sustainability, collective spaces, permaculture, gardening, visual arts, design, and wildlife. When establishing Peppy Possum Design I wanted to combine these passions while creating outdoor spaces.
For me, Peppy Possum Design needed to be about diversity, channeling my interests and skills by taking on projects, ranging from illustration to urban and rural garden design, providing land management tools and designing collective housing.
This approach allows Peppy Possum Design to create unique concepts inspired by the synergy of different domains.

Nature is desperate for a safe haven, it doesn’t take a lot to provide the ingredients for a lush biodiverse garden by integrating permaculture principles. We want you to be able to take a stroll and soak in a variety of plants, native bees, birds, and frogs that are itching to share your space.

You've already got a good start! Let's leverage all the existing qualities of your space. Do you have a hill? Let’s work with it. Do you have a natural gully? Let’s use it to our advantage. Our philosophy is to work with your landscape rather than tame it.

Isn't the garden a chance to experiment? Let's play with colour, textures, and explore all the possibilities of creating your own little world. We love to integrate chickens in the design when requested. These natural gardeners will tame weeds and pests, and give you eggs and companionship in return!
